Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates and other staff members and assign duties to sales workers.
• Prepare sales reports, staff performance reviews, and other documentation as required by store management.
• Sell merchandise and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
• Oversee and contribute to daily sales activities, ensuring that the store meets or exceeds sales targets.
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints offering solutions and maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure that the store is adequately stocked.
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff.
• Handle daily cash management tasks such as balancing tills, processing payments, and reconciling sales.
• Establish work schedules and resolve work conflicts.
• Ensure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage, and cleanliness.
