Job Position: Painter

Job Description:

• Prepare and mix paint, stain, or other finishes to desired colour and consistency based on job specifications.

• Apply paints, varnishes, stains, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers to interior and exterior surfaces.

• Apply final coats, touch-ups, and any detailing work to ensure a high-quality finish.

• Apply level 5 techniques for paint jobs.

• Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding, sandblasting, hydro-blasting and steam-cleaning; remove old wallpaper and loose paint; repair cracks and holes in walls; and sandpaper and apply sealer

• Read specifications to determine quantities of materials required

• Follow instructions from supervisors.

• Ability to work in all weather. 

• Team worker.

Pay rate: 

• $28.85 per hour

Education and Work experience:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

• 6-12 months related work experience is an asset.
