Responsibilities
Tasks
Greenhouse cleaning
Hand harvesting vegetables
Mixing fertilizer
Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
Seed cutting
Stone and/or wood picking
Weeding
Fertilize and spray crops
Harvest crops
Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Provide agricultural livestock services such as artificial insemination, spraying or shearing of livestock or disinfecting pens, barns or poultry houses
Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
Develop work schedules and establish procedures
Hire and train staff
Perform general farm duties
