Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Location:200 Bond Street West suite 209A Oshawa, ON L1J 2L7

Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours

While we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Project Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Construction Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception through completion. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate subcontractors activities
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Select trade subcontractors
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
  • Recruit, hire and supervise staff 
  • Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors
  • Plan and prepare consruction schedules and milestones and monitor progress
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements
  • Read blueprint, schemas and drawings
  • Plan and manage budgets
  • Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions
  • Develop and implement quality control programs
  • Develop risk management plans
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information
  • Prepare reports
  • Supervise up to 16-20 people at a time

**Qualifications:**

- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction project management
- **Knowledge:** In-depth understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- **Other:** Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
