Vacancy: Physiotherapy Assistant

Salary: $29.00 hourly

Terms of employment: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience

Education: Completion of Secondary

Start date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

• Assist in Carrying out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
• Assist in administering tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures and record results.
• Set up and dismantle and reassemble equipment and supplies.
• Assist in Maintaining clinical and progress reports.
• Take patients' general medical history.
• Order supplies and equipment if required.

• Upon directions and advise of physiotherapist assist clients on postures, lifestyle and exercises to help them improve their physical condition.
