Our company is looking for a full time “Office Administrator” to contribute to the company’s growth and gain valuable experience.

Employment:

Permanent, Full-time

Salary:

$30/hr

Hours:

35 hours per week approx.

Education:

College diploma or equivalent experience

Experience:

7 months to less than 1 year

Business location:

Tasks

  • Implement new administrative procedures
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures
  • Delegate work to office support staff
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities of establishment
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  • Perform data entry and Oversee payroll administration
  • Train staff, Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
  • Resolve conflict situations
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents

Computer and technology knowledge

Ability to work independently, MS Office: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows.  MS Word

Work conditions and physical capabilities

Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail, large workload
