Job Description

Derry Urgent Care Clinic is looking to hire an experienced, permanent and full time Medical Clinic Assistant for its Mississauga location, who can perform following duties:

• Triage patients

• Complete history taking and other relevant details necessary to determine patient status

• Document in patients electronic records accurately and concisely

• Prepare vaccination as ordered by the physician

• Take vitals – Height, weight and blood pressure

• Create referrals to outside service as requested

• Write doctors notes or consult reports as required

• Assist physician in minor procedures eg. Urine dip test

• Scheduling appointments, complete insurance and other claim forms,

• Assist with incoming and outgoing calls from patients as needed.
