Salary: $30-35.00 hourly
Hours: 35 hours per week

About Us:

Join Diamond Crete and Construction Inc., a leading company in the construction business in GTA, known for our commitment to quality and craftsmanship. You will be working at various location in and around GTA depending on the Kob at hand.We are looking for dedicated Apprentice Carpenters to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites.
• Instruct and supervise apprentices and other workers.
• Estimate costs and materials for projects.
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial wooden structures.

Requirements:

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years in carpentry or a related field.
• Languages: Proficiency in English.
• Transportation: Own transportation is required; must be willing to travel.
• Additional: Valid driver's license.

Work Environment:

• Noisy and dusty conditions typical of construction sites.
• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking; physically demanding with handling of heavy loads.
• Overtime may be required to meet tight deadlines.
• Travel expenses covered by the employer.

• Strong client focus and reliability.
• Good judgment and a team player who values ethics.
