Position: Delivery Person Supervisor

Number of Positions: 1

Wage Rate: $30.00 per hour for 35 to 40 hours per week

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Morning, Day, Evening, Overtime, Weekend

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Work Location: 213-146 Back Rd Courtenay, BC V9N 3W6

Job Duties:

• Assign  workers to duties
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Authorize payments by cheque
• Establish work schedules
• Dispatch the drivers
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers

Requirements:

Experience:

2 years to less than 3 years

Education:

Secondary (High) School graduation Certificate

Supervision:

3-4 Person

Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and attention to detail Fluent in English.
