Each meal we prepare is crafted with attention to detail, from choosing the best ingredients to how it looks on the plate. We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef (Teer 62200) to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and the ability to lead a kitchen team effectively.

Job Description:

• Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of several restaurants in an establishment, restaurant chains, hospitals or other establishments with food services
• Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions.
• Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
• Estimate food requirements and will estimate food and labour costs and minimise wastage
• Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks
• Suggesting arrangement for equipment purchases and repairs
• Recruit and hire staff and train staff
• May prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions

Position: Head Chef (1 Position); Salary: $38.46 hourly / 35 hours per Week; Terms of employment: Permanent-Full time

Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning, Night, On Call, Overtime, Shift, Weekend.

Language required: English; Education: Secondary (high) school with minimum 1 year Diploma in Food Production;

Experience: 12 plus years; Work setting: Restaurant-Fast Paced.
