Job Description

Speedoline Transport is looking for a safety-driven, energetic and customer service-oriented Class 1 Company Drivers.

Education:

·         No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience:

Experience an asset

Salary:

$28 per hour, 60 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Tasks:

·         Load and unload goods

·         Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials

·         Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment

·         Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

Credentials

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses

·         Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)

Type of trucking and equipment

·         Refrigerated

·         Tractor-trailer

Communication systems experience

·         Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment

Transportation/travel experience

·         Long-haul
