Location: 30 Eglinton Avenue West,Unit 400, Mississauga, ON L5R 3E7

Salary: $37 per hour / 35 hours per week

Overtime: 1.5x the regular hourly rate for hours exceeding 44 per week

Vacation Pay: 4% per pay period

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop website layouts based on client requirements, ensuring both functionality and visual appeal.
2. Create wireframes and prototypes to plan site structure, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX).
3. Select color schemes, typography, and imagery that align with brand identity and design principles.
4. Ensure websites are responsive and perform seamlessly across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
5. Optimize website performance to improve load times and deliver a smoother user experience.
6. Collaborate with developers to integrate design elements and resolve technical issues.
7. Incorporate SEO best practices into designs to improve site visibility and search engine ranking.
8. Regularly maintain and update websites to keep content fresh, functional, and relevant.
9. Ensure accessibility standards are met to provide an inclusive experience for all users.
10. Stay current with the latest web design trends and tools to maintain modern, innovative website aesthetics.

Eligibility Requirements:

• A degree or diploma in Web Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field is typically required.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
• Proficiency in HTML, .NET, CSS, JavaScript, 3D graphic software, and multimedia applications.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating creative work.
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent english communication skills for collaboration with clients, team members, and developers.
• Project management skills are a plus.
