Job position: Retail store supervisor

Job details:

Location: Ottawa, ON, K1N 9J7

Pay: $21 per hour, 35 hours per Week

Position: Permanent, Full-time

Working hours: Day, Flexible Hours, Morning, Weekend

Start Date: Starts as soon as possible

Number of Jobs: 1 vacancy

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience required: 1 to less than 7 months

Work setting: Retail business

Job Responsibilities:

• Assign sales workers to duties
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Order merchandise
• Establish work schedules
• Sell merchandise
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
• Conduct performance reviews

Supervision: 1 to 2 people
