Job Position: Food service supervisor

Employer:  Chick-fil-A Kitchener

Job Description:

Location: Kitchener, ON, N2C 1X2

Salary: $21.50 hourly, 35 hours per Week

Terms of employment: permanent employment, full-time. Day, Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning, Night, Weekend

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Number of vacancies: 2 vacancies

Languages known: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work setting: Food service establishment, Fast food outlet or concession

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys

Supervision

  • 5-10 people
