Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

Job Description:

??As an Assistant Store Manager, you will carry out the following job duties:

• Manage and coordinate staff activities in the liquor store and pub, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.

• Ensure exceptional customer service by welcoming customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.

• Monitor inventory levels and order liquor, beverages, and supplies to maintain adequate stock.

• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, such as promotions and improved product placement.

• Oversee cash management tasks, including deposits, cash drawer reconciliation, and accounting for pub sales.

• Ensure compliance with liquor laws, health and safety regulations, and licensing requirements.

• Manage opening and closing procedures for the store and pub.

• Handle escalated customer complaints and concerns effectively.

• Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues

• Develop and implement marketing strategies.

Pay rate: 

• $34.85 per hour

Education and Work experience:

• Minimum Secondary (high) school graduation 

• 6 months minimum experience required
