Hiring: Network & Systems Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ARE LISTED BELOW:

• Coordinate access and use of computer networks
• Manage firewall backups, VPN connectivity, and security configurations.

• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST).
• Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks
• May oversee and coordinate teams of design experts in developing and integrating network architecture, and software.

• Troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade web server hardware and software
• Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software
• Configure and manage monitoring tools like Azure Sentinel, Nagios, Zabbix, PRTG, or SolarWinds.
• Monitor server performance, security logs, and network traffic for anomalies.
• Analyze, evaluate, and integrate hardware and software for network systems and data communications.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery using Veeam Backup.
• Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
• Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance
• Assess, document, and enhance the capacity and efficiency of information and communication networks.
• Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations

• Ensure high availability, failover, and disaster recovery strategies for networks and servers.

Key Requirements:

Education : Bachelors Degree in relevant field.

Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience required.

Language: English

Salary: CAD$ 50.00/hour. Full-time permanent position
