Best Pro Building Supplies Ltd. is looking forward to expanding our ever-growing team of Truck Driver to manage our business. Best Pro Building Supplies Ltd. currently wants to hire 1 Truck Driver. This will be a Permanent, full-time position with 35 hours per week.

A Truck Driver will be performing the following job duties:

• Professionalism in customer service
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption

Credentials:

Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses 

• Air Brakes Endorsement
• Class 1/1F/A License (semi-trailer trucks)
• Accident or incident reports
• Driver logbook
• Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
• Maintenance and repair reports
• Trip reports

Experience and specialization:

Documentation knowledge

 Employment Requirement:

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: Experience an asset
• English as a language skill is required
• On the road job: Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.
• Work setting: Various locations

What we offer:

• $29.00 hourly/ 35 hours per week
• 4% vacation will be paid
