We are looking for a responsible, caring, flexible and punctual caregiver for a child. The ideal candidate should be attentive, patient, and capable of creating a nurturing and stimulating environment at home of the employer located in Burnaby, BC, Canada

Job Title: Child Caregiver

Position: Permanent, Full-Time (32 hours/ week.)

Vacancy: 1

Start Date: As soon as possible

Language: English

Education: Secondary (High) school Graduate Certification or equivalent experience

Experience: No Experience

Wage: C$19.00/hour

Work Site Environment: No drugs, no alcohol and Non-Smoking

Work Location: Dunblane Ave, Burnaby, BC, V5H 3K7

Specific Skills

• Supervise and care for the child at all times.
• Bathe, dress, and feed the child, ensuring proper hygiene and nutrition.
• Maintain a consistent routine, including meals, naps and playtime.
• Plan and organize engaging age-appropriate activities such as storytelling and outdoor play.
• Foster the child's emotional and social development through positive interaction and encouragement
• Support early learning through play-based education and reading age-appropriate books.
• Encourage independence while ensuring the child’s safety and well-being.
• Discipline the child according to the parents' guidance and family values.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning related to the child (e.g., tidying toys, laundry, sanitizing play areas).
• Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks for the child.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the child's bedroom and play areas.
• Handle emergencies with a calm and responsible approach.
• Teach basic manners, hygiene habits, and self-care skills.
• Perform a positive and loving environment for the child’s growth.
