Singh family is looking for a full time caring, loving, and responsible and a patient caregiver for their infant who is 6 Months old. The caregiver will be working at their residence located in Victoria BC V8V 1L4

Language Preference: English

Education: Completion of Secondary (High) School or equivalent. Course in Child Care will be an asset.
Work Setting: Employer’s Home

Wage:  C$20.00/ hr

Experience: Not Mandatory

Job duties

• Ensuring a safe environment free from any hazards, closely supervise the child in the absence of the parents in the home of the employer.
• Provide the basic needs of infant, including feeding, diaper changing and ensure proper hygiene.
• Maintain and establish a safe sleeping environment and routine for infant.
• Ensure to take full responsibility of the home in the absence of the parents.
• Observing infants sign for illness or development concerns and inform parents, keeping daily record of infant daily , including meal nap and any other notable behavior or change
• All the time maintaining a clean and healthy and loving environment at home.
• Keeping hygiene and cleanliness in all areas of the house.
• Taking them to doctor during appointments.
• May need to perform light housekeeping duties.
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support his social development

Please note no smoking is allowed in or around our house and we seek strictly a non-smoking person.

WAGES & BENEFITS:

• Full time and permanent position, works 40 hrs. per week
• Vacation pay of 4% of wages per year or 10 days paid vacation.
