	Job Description
	Location: 12 Baseline RoadLondon, ON  N6J 1V2
Salary: $19.00 hourly / 35 hours per Week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
Job Type: Permanent employment
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily food service operations, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
 
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance.
 
- Prepare financial reports, including budgets and expense tracking, for management review.
 
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of food products.
 
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to maximize efficiency.
 
- Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary.
 
- Ensure compliance with provincial health regulations and food safety protocols.
 
- Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
 
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to ensure high satisfaction levels.
 
- Develop and implement menus, considering dietary restrictions and customer preferences.
 
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including chefs and servers, for optimal performance.
 
Eligibility Requirements:
- Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
 
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the food service industry is preferred.
 
- Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of kitchen and service staff.
 
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, customers, and suppliers.
 
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.
 
- Proficiency in handling customer inquiries, complaints, and ensuring a high-quality dining experience.
 
- Capability to address and resolve operational challenges and staff issues efficiently.
 
- Understanding of provincial health regulations and food safety laws.
 
- Skills to efficiently manage staff schedules and operational tasks.
