Job Description

We are looking for 2 positions of Cook for full time employment ( 30 to 40 hours per week) for our location on Unit 108 – 3790 Canada Way, Burnaby  V5G 1G4.

Duties of the position:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas

Work conditions:

• Fast-paced environment
• Work under pressure

Requirements:

Knowledge of english language

At least 1 year of work experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Wage: 19.00 to 25.00 hourly (to be negotiated)
