Responsibilities

Tasks

• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and scraping to ensure smooth paint application.
• Mix and match paint colors to meet specific project requirements.
• Use masking tape and protective coverings to shield areas from unintended paint splashes.
• Remove old paint and wallpaper using specialized tools and techniques.
• Repair cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections before painting.
• Follow blueprints, drawings, and instructions to determine painting specifications.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools after use.
• Estimate the amount of paint and materials needed for a project.
• Ensure safety standards and regulations are followed during painting operations.
