Shift: Early Morning, Morning, Day

Location of Work:  Surrey, BC, and at client’s sites across the Lower Mainland, Vancouver.

Experience: 7 Months to less than 1 Years

Job Description:

-        Read and analyze electrical blueprints, circuit diagrams, and electrical code to assess wiring structures for new or existing systems

-        Route electrical wiring through conduits, walls, and floors to establish connections.

-        Support electrical equipment by installing brackets and hangers for support.

-        Set up, replace, and repair lighting fixtures, electrical controls, and panel boxes such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels.

-        Join, splice, and connect wires to electrical components and fixtures and ensure circuits are complete.

-        Test continuity of circuits using test equipment and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults integrity of circuits to ensure proper functionality and safety of the system after installation, replacement, or repair.

-        Identify faults in electrical systems and troubleshoot malfunctioning components.

-        Remove, repair, or replace defective wiring, connections, and equipment.

-        Set up and connect power for audio and visual communication equipment, heating, and cooling systems, and signaling devices

-        Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures

 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
