Location: 154 Paramount Rd. Winnipeg, MB R2X 2W3
Salary: $24.20 per hour
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time 35 to 40 hours /week

Requirements: 
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.)
Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks), Driver's License (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Specific Skills: Load and unload goods; Receive and relay information to central dispatch; Operate and drivestraight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials; Tarping and ensure safety andsecurity of cargo; Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy; Oversee condition of the vehicleand inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment; Record cargo information,hours of service, distance traveled and fuel consumption; Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

Document Knowledge: Accident or incident reports; Trip reports; Trans-border documentation; Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip); Driver logbook; Bill of lading

Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract); Drug test; Criminal record check; Valid passport

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel cross-border; Willing to travel for extended periods; Willing to travel overnight;Valid driver's licence

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Sitting
