Permanent Position: Cook (NOC 63200)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time (Weekend, Overtime as required)

Wage Rate:  $20.00 per hour, for 35 hours per week.

 Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

 Work setting: Restaurant

 Job Duties:·         

• Prepare,and cook complete meals or individual dishes as directed

• Ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions.

• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers.

• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.

• Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, etc.).

• Package prepared dishes for delivery to customers

• May prepare ingredients for cooking as required.

Work conditions and physical capabilities:

Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Work under pressure

Personal suitability:

Excellent oral communication, Reliability, Team player

Requirements:

Education: High School

Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience required.

Languages: English

Benefits: Relocation expenses will be covered by the employer as well as the first three months of medical insurance, if required.

Other: Candidates should be legally entitled to work in Canada.
