	Job Description
	Location:, 2000 Argentia Road Suite 400 Plaza 3, Mississauga, ON L5N 1V9
Salary: $41 hourly / 35 hours per Week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
Job Type: Permanent employment

Job Responsibilities: 
- Inspect formwork, base layers, and steel reinforcement to ensure correct setup before concrete placement.
 
- Guide the proper pouring of concrete into forms or onto surfaces based on elevation and grade requirements.
 
- Smooth out uneven areas and fill gaps on freshly poured concrete to create a uniform finish.
 
- Prepare estimates and submit quotations for materials, labor, and overall project costs.
 
- Adjust and level the top layer of concrete according to specified depth and slope.
 
- Use hand and power tools to create the desired finish on concrete surfaces.
 
- Apply curing compounds and sealants to harden and protect concrete during the curing process.
 
- Perform waterproofing, damp-proofing, and restoration on concrete surfaces to increase durability.
 
- Repair or replace damaged sections of concrete to restore structural integrity and appearance.
 
- Estimate material quantities and project costs to support planning and budgeting efforts.
 
 
Eligibility Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school and training courses or a vocational program is usually required
 
- 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience
 
- Strong attention to detail
 
- Physically able to bend, crouch, and stand for long periods
 
- Effective in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
 
- Excellent multitasking and time management skills
 
- Good hand-eye coordination and sound judgment
 
- Strong English oral and written communication
 
- Highly organized and reliable
