Lionhead Mechanical is looking for two F/T Permanent Plumbers for its busy mechanical trade company to work in its operation in Calgary, AB.

We require candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience working as a Plumber, less experience will be considered upon demonstration of the appropriate level of skills. The company is committed to hiring a candidate willing to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and energetic environment.  Flexible and willing to work shifts. Candidates must possess a clean criminal record.  Language of work:  English. 

Salary compensation: $ 33.51/hr. for 40 hours per week.

Education:  Trade Certificate or proof of registration for the trade exam and Secondary School Certificate.

Duties:

• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems.
• Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors.
• Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
• Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines.
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
• May prepare cost estimates.
