We are Norlands Box Co. Inc., a leading corrugated packaging manufacturer based in Surrey, BC. With a strong focus on quality, customization, and sustainability, we specialize in delivering high-performance packaging solutions—from standard RSC boxes to custom die-cuts, printed sheets, and specialty designs.

At Norlands, we combine advanced digital and exographic printing technologies with expert in-house design to help businesses showcase their products with eye-catching, functionalpackaging. We are looking for qualied Printing press operators to join our team.

Start date: ASAP
Pay rate: $35/hrs
Hours per week: 40

Location: 2942, 190 St, Surrey, BC V3S 9V2

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advise press crew on product specifications or material requirements
• Mount plates or cylinders and make necessary adjustments
• Prepare production schedules
• Review job orders to determine production time, colour sequence and quantities required
• Fill ink fountains and control colour and viscosity
• Plan production methods
• Estimate costs
• Set up press and operate at slow speed to check samples
• Instruct apprentices
• Monitor regular press run for quality using computer control console
• Remove and clean plates and cylinders at end of press run
• Set up and adjust in-line binding and finishing equipment
• Direct press crew to set up, operate and shut down press

Job requirements:

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
