 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Cut beef, lamb, pork, or veal carcasses, sides, or quarters into primal sections to facilitate handling, processing or packaging for distribution.
  • Slice poultry and meat into required portions and sizes for institutional, commercial, or wholesale operations.
  • Skillfully remove bones from various meat cuts to ensure safety and presentation quality.
  • Cut poultry into individual sections accoridng to requirements.
  • Segment carcasses, sides and halves adhering to cutting standards
  • Trim, shape, and prepare standardized meat portions
  • Work closely with other meat cutters, supervisors, and packaging staff to ensure efficient and timely processing.
  • Examine cuts of meat for signs of spoilage, bruising, or other defects, ensuring that only high-quality meat is processed and packaged.
  • Properly handle and store meat to maintain temperature controls and ensure freshness, including monitoring refrigeration systems.
  • Ensure workstations, tools, and machinery are cleaned regularly to meet health and safety standards.
  • Follow proper sanitation procedures to avoid contamination.
