Location: Suite 700, 6733 Mississauga Road 

                 Mississauga, ON L5N 6J5

Salary: $36.25 hourly / 30 hours per Week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

Job Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment sold by the company.

• Provide on-site and remote customer support, including training operators on proper equipment use and maintenance.

• Assist in preparing technical documentation, service reports, and maintenance logs.

• Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to stay up-to-date on new equipment, upgrades, and parts availability.

• Maintain service tools, vehicles, and parts inventory as needed.

• Occasionally assist in trade shows or customer visits to demonstrate product functionality and reliability.

• Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems.

• Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up.

• Provide on-site and remote support, including training operators on proper equipment use and maintenance.

Eligibility Requirements:

• A Secondary school graduation certificate is the minimum educational requirement for this job.

• 5 years or more of experience as an industrial mechanic handling heavy machinery and equipment or similar role.

• Background checks to ensure that one has no disqualifying criminal history.

• A good understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards is crucial

• Clear and effective communication, particularly in English, is essential for interacting at client sites, vendors and suppliers.

• This is a physical demanding job with attention to detail, handling heavy loads, ability to work under pressure.
