Required Line Cook

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ARE LISTED BELOW:

• Prepping produce, chopping fruits, vegetables, portioning meats, cheese, sauces and ensuring all on the go food prep is done and ready to be used at the cooking station.
• Supervising the other staff and providing training when required
• Ensuring that all the cooking, prep station are always stocked
• Keep the workstation clean and sanitized as per cleaning guidelines.
• Train the staff in cooking, prepping of the menu items.
• Be aware of changing menu items and specials.
• Making sure the food being served is always up to par with the company standards.
• Use various tools and machine such as waffle irons, crepe grills, oven etc to prepare food
• May perform light dishwashing.

Key Requirements:

-       Completion of high school

-       1 year to 7 months of experience

-       Client focus, Effective interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Team player.

-       Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.

Language: English

Salary: CAD$ 17/hour. Full-time permanent position at Dspot Dessert Café located at 7700 Markham Road, Unit 3B, Markham, ON, L3S 4S1
