Job Description

Very nice family looking for a responsible and caring nanny for a toddler and a Newborn.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

•       Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

•       Other related duties as required

•       Cooking for the children (breakfast/dinner) everyday.

•       Light cleaning & laundry;

•       Taking kids to activities; swimming, park, child development groups

•       Responsible for the house/child while parents are working

•       Changing the newborn and bottle-feeding

•       Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

•      Strong ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both written and oral forms. Second language skills an asset

•      Highly organized with the ability to multi-task

•      Positive attitude, friendly, outgoing personality.

•      Completion of High School

•      Minimum 1-year relevant experience in similar position

•      English language proficiency

•      First Aid and CPS certification preferred

•      Experience in caring for infants and toddlers is required

Work setting: Private Home

Job type- Full-time, 30-40 hours per week

Pay Rate/ Salary: CAD$19/h
