Clever Cub Childcare is a full-time daycare center established in North Vancouver.We have
expanded to second and third locations in Sunshine coast. We are looking for motivated Early Childhood
supervisor to join our team.

- Hourly wage: $35-$37/hour

- Expected start date: Aug 2025
- Benefits: Extended healthcare benefits
- Hours a week: 40
- Location of Work: 5768 Cowrie Street, Sechelt, BC V0N 3A0

Duties and responsibilities:

• Program Planning and Implementation: Plan and implement activities that align with children's interests, in accordance with the Centre's philosophy, policies, and applicable legislation.
• Responsive Care: Respond sensitively to the needs of individual children.
• Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a variety of balanced activities that enhance children's cognitive, motor, creative, sensory, social, and emotional development.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure regular attendance checks are documented and verified during indoor, outdoor, transition times, and field trips.
• Daily Health Monitoring: Conduct daily health checks, record any illnesses, inform the Supervisor, and contact parents as necessary.
• Meal Supervision and Nutritional Monitoring: Supervise meal and snack times, encourage healthy eating habits, and report any concerns to families and the Supervisor.
• Sanitation and Safety Maintenance: Keep surface areas and rooms tidy and sanitary, adhering to licensing requirements, and ensure children are appropriately dressed for activities.
• Emergency Preparedness: Plan, execute, and document fire and emergency drills on a monthly basis.
• Parent Communication and Support: Establish and maintain professional communication with parents/caregivers, providing ongoing support and resources while documenting all significant interactions.
• Team Collaboration and Professionalism: Collaborate with colleagues, participate actively in meetings and events, and always maintain a professional demeanor, avoiding gossip and maintaining personal boundaries.

Job requirements:

- Education: College or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years

- Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate 
- At least two years of experience
- First Aid Certificate
- Language of work: English
- Flexibility, Organized, Attention to details
