Job Description

Canadian Flatbeds Ltd. is hiring 1 full-time permanent Long Haul Truck Driver.

Job Title- Long Haul Truck Driver
Job Location- Milton, ON L9T 5J3

Salary-$36 per hour
Anticipate start date- As soon as possible

Term of employment-Permanent, Full-time 30-40 hours per week
Number of position- 1

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

Air Brakes Endorsement, AZ class license

  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
