Job Title: FORKLIFT MECHANIC

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.

Work Location: 16108 Blundell Road, Richmond, BC, V6W 0A2 Canada 

Wage rate: $36.60/hour for 40 hours/week.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Language: English.

Job Duties: 

• Performing regular inspections, lubrication, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Checking fluid levels, changing filters, and replacing worn-out parts.
• Performing safety inspections before returning forklifts to service. 

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, including engine, brake, hydraulic, and electrical systems. 
• Utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment to identify the root cause of problems. 
• Repairing or replacing faulty parts, such as motors, transmissions, and hydraulic systems. 

• Ensuring all repairs are completed according to safety regulations.
• Maintaining an organized and safe work area.
• Keeping accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, overtime required.
