Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Wage: $36.60 for 30-40 hours/week

Job Brief:

Our Panago Pizza location in Chilliwack, BC is looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager with good leadership skills to join its team at the earliest, responsible for managing a staff within a business. Coordinates the shipping of goods, sets up displays and assist customers and staff during business hours.

Job Duties:

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the facility
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Recruit staff and oversee staff training
• Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
• Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering

Requirements:

• Language: English is a requirement
• Education: Completion of College is required
• Experience: 1 – 2 years of experience within the food sector or previous experience as a food service supervisor will be considered

Core skills:

• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Have financial skills to create budgets, enter data into spreadsheets, use financial software and analyze expense reports
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be attentive and detail-oriented
