Smith Falls Building Supplies Inc., is located at 307 Ponamalie Side Rd, Smiths Falls, Ontario, K7A 4S4, is a trusted building supplier of quality building materials and services.We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to lead our procurment team, manage supplies relationships, and ensure the smooth, efficient operation of our purchasing department.

Position Overview
The Purchasing dSupervisor will oversee the aquisition of materials, equipment, and services, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain optimal inventory levels. This role requires strong leadership, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
1. Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services
2. Negotiate offersfrom suppliers
3. Consult with suppliers
4. Review quoatations
5. Determine contract terms and conditions
6. Monitor progress of delivery schedules
7. Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems

Qualifications
1. Language: English
2. Education: College/GEGEP, or equivalent experience
3. Experience: 5 years or more
4. Skills: Strong negotiation abilities, team leadership, and collaborative work style
5. Work Arrangement: On-site only;remote work is not available
