Job Description

- Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made, or prepare specifications,·

- Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints

- Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics·

- Apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products,

-  Operate woodworking machines and use hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components,

- Estimate cost of projects and prepare detailed specifications, 

- Work in a millwork shop for commercial and residential furniture 

- Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and skidding

- Working 30-40 hours per week

Qualifications

- Experience of 1 year or less experience

- Excellent written communication

- Organized

- Excellent oral communication

- Effective interpersonal skills

Credentials & Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $34.07 per hour

Benefits: Extended healthcare available after 1 year of employment
