Duties:

• ·         Examine blueprints, sketches, and plans to figure out how pipes should be set up for plumbing, water supply, and waste systems.
• ·         Put in, fix, and take care of plumbing systems in homes and businesses.
• ·         Make holes in walls and floors to fit pipes.
• ·         Test installed systems for leaks and proper functionality or may use pressure gauges and other tools to ensure the systems are working as intended.
• ·         Find and mark the right spots for pipes to connect and where they should go through walls and floors.
• ·         Cutting, bending and threading pipes with the help of hands, machines or power tools.
• ·         Connect pipes together using methods like couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or tools for soldering, brazing, and welding.
• ·         Prepare cost estimation.
