Job Advertisement – Retail Supervisor

1. Job Details

• Location: Brampton, ON, L6W 3H4

• Work Location: On-site (no remote option)

• Salary: $36.50 per hour / 32.00 to 35.00 hours per week

• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time, Day shift

• Start Date: As soon as possible

• Languages: English

• Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma (1–2 years)

• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

3. Work Environment & Setting

• Non-smoking, air-conditioned environment

• Retail business setting

• Must be willing to relocate

4. Responsibilities & Tasks

1. Supervise staff (apprentices, stagehands, design team, etc.)

2. Assign sales workers to duties

3. Hire and train or arrange for training of staff

4. Order merchandise

5. Authorize return of merchandise

6. Establish work schedules

7. Sell merchandise

8. Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters

9. Resolve issues such as customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages

10. Organize and maintain inventory

11. Supervise and coordinate activities of workers

12. Manage cash

13. Conduct performance reviews

• Computer/Technology Knowledge:

  • MS Outlook
