Gurnek Transport

Hiring: Short haul truck driver

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ARE LISTED BELOW:

• Be able to load and unload goods and shipments.
• Drive trucks to transport goods and materials to clients safely.
• Maintain optimal condition of vehicle by regularly inspecting tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
• Perform routine inspections of the truck and submit reports for any maintenance that might be required.
• Perform brake adjustments.
• Must be able to do routine emergency roadside repairs.
• Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspection.
• Manage all aspects of vehicle.
• Complete preventative maintenance.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Tarping and confirming safety and security of cargo.

Key Requirements:

Education:                                                          Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Work Experience:                                            Will train.

Credentials:                                                       AZ class license

Language:                                                           English

Salary:                                                                  CAD$ 37.00/hour. Full-time permanent position at Gurnek Transport
