Location: 5500 N Service Rd suite 300 Burlington, ON L7L 6W6
Salary: $36.50 hourly / 30 hours per week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
• Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
• Make minor adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact qualified tradespersons for major repairs.
• Coordinate with contractors for larger repair and maintenance work as required.
• Perform small appliance repairs and ensure all equipment is in proper working condition.
• Conduct routine safety and security checks throughout the premises.
• Move and arrange heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repairs, and basic carpentry.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring all assigned tasks are completed efficiently.
• Remove snow and ice from walkways, entrances, and parking areas to maintain safe access.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school and training courses or a vocational program is usually required
• 1-2 years of experience in similar role
• Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.
• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and perform repetitive or physically demanding tasks.
• Capable of handling heavy loads (up to 9 kg / 20 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling during work.
• Dependable, punctual, and demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility.
• Possesses excellent english oral and written communication skills with flexibility and initiative.
• Highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
