Location: 164 Sandalwood Parkway East Suite 225,  Brampton, ON L6Z 3S4
Salary: $36.20 hourly / 30 hours per Week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:

• Clean, trim, and prepare meats for processing or cutting
• Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters into standard and specialty cuts
• Remove bones and excess fat to prepare meat for sale or display
• Weigh, wrap, label, and price meat products accurately
• Prepare and package customer orders and special meat cuts on request
• Grind meats and ensure freshness and quality standards are maintained
•  Arrange and maintain attractive displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
• Provide customer service and assist customers in selecting meat products
• Supervise and train meat cutters, apprentices, and other staff
• Ensure work areas, tools, and equipment meet hygiene and safety standards

Eligibility Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of experience as a butcher
• Strong English verbal and written communication 
• Experienced in using band saws, manual cutting tools, and power grinders.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of standing for long periods and performing physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads
• Strong hand-eye coordination and keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks
• Reliable, dependable, and well-organized in completing daily responsibilities
• Flexible and adaptable to changing work demands and schedules
• Team-oriented with a cooperative and positive attitude toward coworkers and customers
