About Us

Holyheart Construction Inc. is a growing construction company specializing in residential and commercial projects across Prince Edward Island. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Drywall Installer to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

As a Drywall Installer, you will:

Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets.
Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster.
Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound.
Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry.
Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids.
Fill joints, nail indentations, and holes with joint compound.
Clean and prepare surfaces for finishing.
Ensure work areas are organized and safe.

Qualifications

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years (or equivalent experience).
Language: English.

Work Environment

Work must be completed at on-site locations.
Environments may include: at heights, dusty, noisy, and various construction sites.
Physically demanding role – repetitive tasks, lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, crouching, kneeling, and working under pressure.
