Education: Secondary (high) school or equivalent

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

We are the franchise of Mary Brown’s Chicken & Taters and are running the Fast-food outlet at London, Ontario.

 

We are the franchise store of Mary Brown’s and are running the Fast-food outlet at London since March 2023. Mary Brown’s is a fast-food restaurant capturing a truly modern taste of the fried chicken recipe famous since 1969. They bought the recipe and started a chicken revolution in Canada.

 

Our Store is located at 1830 Adelaide St N, London, ON N5X 4B7.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee meal preparation and service to guarantee timely delivery, consistent taste, and high-quality presentation in every dish.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
  • Instruct and train junior kitchen staff or helpers in cooking techniques, food preparation, and proper use of kitchen equipment.
  • Supervise team in maintaining proper storage, handling, and rotation of all food products to ensure freshness, food safety, and quality control.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals with the team and individual dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Oversee and enforce compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen to uphold a safe and hygienic work environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food, supplies, and ingredients; assist in ordering and receiving stock; and report shortages or discrepancies to management.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of meals.
  • Provide guidance or on-the-job training to junior kitchen staff or helpers as required.
  • Plan, organize, and manage outdoor catering services and large orders, ensuring timely preparation, delivery, and high-quality presentation.
  • Perform other related duties assigned to support smooth kitchen operations and high customer satisfaction.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 2 - 3 years related experience
  • Secondary school or equivalent
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and with a team too
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities
  • Have good communication skills
