Wage: $17.60/Hour

Education: Secondary (high) school or equivalent

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

We are the franchise of Mary Brown’s Chicken & Taters and running the Fast-food outlet at Orillia, Ontario.

 

We are the franchise store of Mary Brown’s and running the Fast-food outlet at Orillia since February 2021. Mary Brown’s is a fast-food restaurant capturing a truly modern taste of the fried chicken recipe famous since 1969. They bought the recipe and started a chicken revolution in Canada.

 

Our Store is located at 324 Memorial Avenue, Orillia, Ontario, L3V 5X9, Canada.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure meals are prepared and served in a timely manner while maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
  • Gather, measure, and prepare ingredients and cooking supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Clean the kitchen and workstations after each service.
  • Maintain proper storage, handling, and sanitation of all food products to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations in the kitchen to uphold a safe working environment.
  • Assist with inventory management by tracking food, supplies, and ingredients, and report shortages to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of meals.
  • Provide guidance or on-the-job training to junior kitchen staff or helpers as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

 

  • At least 2 - 3 years related experience
  • Secondary school or equivalent
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team too.
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities.
  • Have good communication skills.
