Position Summary: 

Sushi Mori is looking for 2 Sushi Chefs to join its team. 

Job Details: 

Location: 19653 Willowbrook Drive, Suite 160, Langley, BC V2Y 1A5

Salary: $36.60 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week 

Employment Type: Permanent employment, Full-time 

Employment Conditions: Day, Evening, Morning 

Requirement: Starts as soon as possible

Job Requirements: 

Languages: English 

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate 

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years 

On-site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. 

Responsibilities: 

Tasks: 

• Create new recipes
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
• Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

Credentials: Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:  

• Safe Food Handling certificate
• Food Safety Certificate

Experience and specialization: Cuisine specialties: 

• Sushi preparation techniques
• Japanese cuisine
