Job Duties:
- Plan and manage staff work schedules to ensure smooth kitchen operations and adequate coverage during busy hours.
- Supervise and coordinate food preparation and portioning to maintain consistency and quality
- Train staff on proper sanitation practices, food safety guidelines, and specific job responsibilities
- Requisition of food supplies and kitchen materials to maintain sufficient inventory for daily operations.
- Prepare budgets, control food and labor costs, and monitor overall expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
- Hire, onboard, and support the training and professional development of new and existing staff.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and service consistently meet the establishment’s standards.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, equipment repairs, and food wastage for reporting and audits.
- Prepare detailed food order summaries to assist the kitchen team with efficient meal preparation.
