Job Title: Carpenter Helper

No. of Vacancies: 2

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.

Work Location: 2625 Islington Avenue Etobicoke, Ontario M9V 2X4

Wage rate: $22/hour for 32 to 40 hours/week.

Benefits: 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period. 

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Will train

Language: English.

Job Duties: 

• Work under instructions of Furniture Maker Carpenter.
• Help to trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit using glue and clamps and reinforce joints using nails, screws, or other fasteners
• Sand wooden surfaces.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Remove rubble and other debris at the workshop
