Job Description

Wage: $16.55 per hour (full-time position; 40 hours per week)

 Location of Work:  450 Alliance Avenue, Toronto, ON M6N 2H8

 

Job Description:

  • Preparation and mixing ingredients for frozen food items made by hand for distribution to local supermarkets;
  • Preparation of Portuguese cod and shrimp cakes and other specialties;
  • Seasoning mixtures during preparation;
  • Cooking and mixing all the required ingredients;
  • Portioning and molding cod and shrimp cakes & other specialties;
  • Preparing and cooking filling for the shrimp cakes in accordance with Portuguese recipes;
  • Ordering supplies and food ingredients;
  • Clean kitchen and work areas

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Prepared to work in a commercial kitchen environment
